Hey Jim Have not heard from you in a long time. How are you? Next time you are by Melbourne on ICW we will have to have dinner again. All the best to you and your wife. Good advice on the Helm seat. There is a few examples I've collected on the web site. www.pearson35.com/variationsweb/new_helm_seat.htmTake care Harris www.pearson35.com

I have a beautiful helm seat (arched with brackets) but never use it. Instead, I keep a cooler on the thingypit floor aft and slide it forward when I want to use it as a seat with a cushion on top. Found coolers that fit snugly and are almost seat high. I use it for extra provisions during a cruise. Greg - Blue Moon #87

I used the biggest fender (the 12" diameter, 3' long one) that came with the boat as my helm seat on the trip bringing her home. Super squishy comfy and bouncy fun to boot. And tall enough to actually see over the cabin top easily. So good that I bought another (clean) fender to use as a helm seat full time.
