Is their a convenient place to put a LectraSan waste treatment sytem. Buying a P35 and don't have the boat available, yet, to do any measuring. A LectraSan came up locally at a reasonable price and I need to move on it, if It will fit without rebuilding the forepeak.
Don't want to have a holding tank. Grew up with two holers and see absolutely no reason to have a floating outhouse when a viable sewage treatment system exists.

Hey Peter
I stuck my LectraSan under the Bow, Starboard bunk. Check out the pictures in the Project section.
Good to hear from you. Harris

I installed my lectrasan under the hamper area by the sink, Plumbed it with PVC and no hub couplings to take up vibration. I placed a 6 gal holding tank on the top shelf over the head, Had to change some of the holes but placed outlet in bottom and installed a tee. one side to deck fitting other to valve and thru hull (self drains). I placed a y valve next to the aft side of the head and one outlet to Lectrasan, other to top of holding tank. Lectrasan runs to additional inlet I placed in top of tank. Tank and vent line take the place of vented loop and tank is high enough that you don't need a pump to discharge (three miles off shore) or you can go Thur lectures for direct discharge by leaving valve on bottom of tank open (where Permissible). Nice, simple to use system that covers all conditions and don't need to remodel your boat. Questions contact boatsurveyor@earthlink.net.

Mahalo for your input. Hadn't thought about the sink area but it seems to fit nicely there. Now I just need the time to do the install.

Boy this was an old post. The Lectrosan fits nicely under the head counter and that's as far I've gotten with the install.. Getting ready to plumb it and question where the head outlet would fit. The in the water pump out for the holding tank is in the cabinet next to the bulkhead in the forepeak. It wipes out that entire cabinet but wondering if there is somewhere else I fan fit the 1 1/2" through hull and valve that wouldn't ruin a good storage place. Where was the head outlet for the non holding tank/direct discharge boats?? Seems like it might go under the sink but that would take out storage there as well.

Previous owner had put the lectra san under the table in the main salon. We are moving it to probably - hopefully - under head sink/hamper area. Is there any reason the Lectrasan can't be higher than the toilet? Also, is there a rebuild kit available for these things or does it make sense to just buy a new one? This one sat at the yard under cover for 11 years. Motors still work but the electrodes don't seem to.
