imgur.com/a/E06jCWork in progress. We can't get a messenger wire past the second sheave so I'm taking apart the cable tube. Thankfully my sheaves are not buried in fiberglass but the second sheave is not easy to mess with since it is located under the front of the engine and the floorboards. I using 1/8th stainless cable, 7-19 strand. I think 3\16 is over kill and won't wind well on the center board drum. Any tips or suggestion welcome. I used a stainless steel crimp, to minimize galvanic corrosion, but I will go for a proper spliced and serviced wire cable splice next time.
