howdy,
all a sudden i noticed about a half quart of oil in my drip pan . traced it to a port of some sort - right side in the back, near top of oil pan. a threaded fitting that looks likeit would drive a mechanical tachometer . there may be a plastic plug in there that has loosened up. Is that what it is for ?
i have a breather filter on the valve cover, so i don't thinki have high blow by pressure.
thanks,

Hi Harris ,
thanks for reminding me of the photos. in the left hand hand photo its the pressure relief valve . can't read if there is a word before that. it seems to have reseated itself . perhaps i pushed the envelope when i got in some high wind trouble, and started the engine while heeling 20 degrees or so.
thanks,
Dan
