I'd like to get a dodger for my P35 and was wondering if anyone knows of a canvas shop that you might recommend. I was hoping they might already have a pattern for the P35 or some pic's I could check out . I'm also interested in Bimini idea's (working around the mainsheet). I mounted an old Bimini last season and found I had mounted it to close to the winch for low speed cranking. Thanks in Advance

Christopher Ford of Annapolis made my dodger (before I bought the boat). I think it is excellent quality and others have commented on his work as well.
I have been considering moving my traveler forward to the aft edge of the lazarette hatches, then installing a teak filler between the seats aft of the new traveler location and putting a cushion back there with a bimini for my wife to get out of hte sun - sort of an aft "sundeck" - but out of the sun.
Just an idea, I've never seen it done.

Did you ever get bimini made for your P35? If yes, can you recommend the company who made it?
Thanks.

Hi Joe I have not found a Bimini as yet , But I have been looking at a few sites on line one in particular site on line (http://www.coverquest.com/) had a SS upgrade available for the frame and I believe they would also sew in zippers on all 4 sides for side curtains looks like this would run @$700. With Standard alum frame and no zippers @450 I'm still looking and will let you know if I find something

HOWDY, I'M A P35 OWNER AND A PROFESSIONAL MARINE CANVAS FABRICATOR ( CANVAS GUY). IT IS NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO BUY ANY CANVAS ON THE INTERNET AND HAVE IT ACTUALLY FIT YOUR BOAT. THERE ARE SIMPLY NO TWO BOATS EXACTLY THE SAME.. YOU CAN GET CLOSE AND THAT'S WHAT IT WILL LOOK LIKE ; IF YOU DON'T MIND WRINKLES AND FRAMEWORK THAT'S IN THE WAY OF WINCHES, LINES ETC. IT IS CERTAINLY CHEAPER. ANY CUSTOM, ON SITE, BOAT WORK IS EXPENSIVE BUT IF IT IS DESIGNED AND BUILT PROFESSIONALLY YOU CAN CERTAINLY SEE THE DIFFERENCE. THINGS TO ASK FOR; NO ATHWART SHIP SEAMS. #10 ZIPPERS, TANARA(GORTEX) THREAD, STRATOGLASS BRAND CLEAR VINYL, ONLY 5 YEAR WARRANTIED FABRIC (IN THE TROPICS ONLY NON COATED SUNBRELLA,IT HAS TO BREATH) 1" STAINLESS TUBING IT'S NOT REALLY THAT MUCH MORE AND IS TWICE AS STRONG. ANY GOOD CANVAS GUY IS USUALLY 90 TO 120 DAYS OUT SO BOOK EARLY AND TALK TO SEVERAL. ANDY'S MARINE CANVAS 1-251-609-3881 ORANGE BEACH AL.

Check out the dodger/bimini total enclosure in Boats and Owners for Summersail. Done by Canvas Creations in Annapolis. I've been very satisfied with it. I lived aboard for eight months, and it really expanded my living area in cool weather and rain.
