On May 2, 2006 I became the proud new owner of a Pearson35 Hull #405. My search for the boat lead me from Fort Lauderdale Fla. to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. the very last boat I looked at turned out to be the one. I got so discouraged looking at boats with years of neglect that I almost didn't go to Massachusetts. Cape Cod ,what a mistake that would have been. Never a blister and not one crack in the gel coat around stanchions or any where else on the entire ship. I have a house in Venice Florida where the boat will find it's new home in one year after I finish my project list for her, Mostly cosmetics, electronics, 3/8" solid Teak and Holly Sole, new cushions, stainless range and oven, and a on board generator, double life lines and gates. Barrier coat, and Awl grip the hull. I hope to meet Roscoe on the Gulf. Sincerely, Willy LWL@JUNO.COM

Warren, Thank you for your reply. I can't believe you are from Oyster Bay. That is where my family is from, Oyster Bay and Glen Cove. I spent a lot of time there in the early 70's sailing the sound and up the coast as my Uncle's First Mate in his 424 Pearson. He is gone now but I know he and my dad have a smile looking down on my new boat. Sincerely, Willy
