I have a 1973 P35, and I'm considering relocating the 30 gallon fuel tank to possibly one of the thingypit sail lockers. This would allow me to access the rear of the 30 hp deisel, transmission and propeller shaft much easier.
Has anyone tried this? 30 gallons of deisel weighs about 180 pounds. I'm a little worried this might unbalance the boat a bit.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
