I've just replaced the roller reefing boom on my 1969 P35. I have no idea if the old boom still rolls but it may. Think the crank outhaul still hauls. Would be good for spares if someone wants to keep their roller furling. Let me know if anyone has an interest and I'll cut off the casting and ship when I go back to the boat in June. You pay the freight.
Could ship the whole boom or be picked up in Alameda, CA. Shipping would be expensive, probably $300 or more coast to coast.
Aloha Peter O.

Hello Peter:
I would like to also replace my roller reefing boom on my 1969 P35. Can you please tell me where you got your new boom with the specs, supplier and cost if possible. Thanks for your help. Jacques

The boom has gone to recycler heaven. The new boom was made by US Spars. Got it through Mack sails with a new main. Mack supplied it for a really good price that was 1/2 what was quoted locally.
