my 1977 ' Aslan ' has the Westerbeke 30 hp with a Paragon transmission . all is well. i replaced the motor mounts a few years back, and also the cutless bearing and stuffing box hose. my alignment was ok, but decided to install a well made drive saver at the flange coupling. i will send some pics to Harris. this is much beefier than the poly donut. perhaps you have heard of tuning a V-8 with a glass of water on the air cleaner ? i was wondering if anybody has ever noticed the standing wave pattern in a bucket of water on the thingypit floor ? i think the D-saver has improved things, for motoring at 3 knots there is no ripple at all. i know i could put a dial indicator on the shaft looking for runout, but just wondered how smooth other folks arrangements feel on bare feet ? Thanks. Dan

Posted Dan's pictures on the site in the Project section. Good idea Dan.
Love the thought of my thingypit not vibrating!
