Greetings,
We are currently in the yard. I was chasing a blister, when sudenly water came pouring out. The location was below the centerboard pin, and aft of it (slightly forward of the junction between the two saloon windows) I expected this area to be solid, but from the stream of water that poured out at this point - obviously not.
Does anyone have any idea of how the centerboard trunk was laid up and where the voids are located?

don't know your hull# but I've got hull # 33 been working on it for about 5 years here in key west, i guess if you put all my hours together it's only been 1and a1/2 years but my suggestion is check around for more, fix'em and move on, don't worry too much about them and go sailing. Good luck and go sailing. BR

I've got hull #204 and noticed a slight leak inside near the centerboard pin. I'm hoping I can fix it by grinding down the fiberglass and re-glassing the sump. Anyone got any other ideas?

Nope, sounds like the only way to try and cure the problem. Would use epoxy resin as it will make a much better and stronger bond with the old FRP layup and doesn't absorb water ike polyester resin. Polyester resin bonds poorly to old layups. Trying to get at it from the other side in the center board trunk would be nearly impossible.
