Just completed Newport Bermuda Race. A self steering windvane would have been great. There is a Navik A75 available. Does anyone have experience?

Did you sail the race in a Pearson 35?

IIRC the Navik is a vane for small sailboats. Doubt that it has the power and strength to work on a P35.
My boat came with a Monitor. It did not work well with the wheel below 4k boat speed. Vane just didn't generate enough power to turn the wheel unless the speed was up. Before I had a chance to thoroughly work out the problems, a WindPilot Pacific Plus auxillary rudder vane came along so I sold the Monitor. Suspect a pendulum servo vane would work fine if the P35 had a tiller. The WPP vane has worked fine including a downwind slide to hawaii. It also acts as a separate rudder should the boats rudder fail.
The negative of the WPP vane vane is it's arudder is fixed in a straight ahead orientation when not steering the boat. That makes it very difficult to turn the boat in tight situations like getting into a slip. Have largely overcome that by attaching lines to the vane so I steer with the vane as well as the boats rudder by pulling on the lines
