Thinking about attempting to restore the dinette table. Does anyone know how the original table dropped and tabbed into the dinette to create a Port berth? I've read that was the original design, but mine has been lost to the years.

I have and use the original seat with folding leg that is held fast by a metal notch in the cabin sole near the oven. When posistioned, it forms a c-shape with the port seat and the seat/locker forward at the the main cabin bulkhead. The table is then dropped onto the opening of the C. Larry

I have a 1971 hull no 191. It has a table that is 24.5" by 37" and it fits into the opening as described by Larry. Other models are different. What year Pearson do you have? If it is similar, I will send pictures. John

I have pictures of both ends and can make a picture of the removable aft seat/support for the table if you want them. But, I do not know how to attach them in this forum. If you want them, email me at rayschmidt41@verizon.net

Believe I still have the add on piece for the aft seat on my '69 boat. I won't ever use it. You could have it for the cost of shipping. Think it's at my son's house in CA so will have to wait till after Christmas to see if I can find it.

I would also appreciate any pictures and/or measurements of the dinette area. Slow Dance is a '73 Pearson 35 and the former owner had the main cabin gutted and reconfigured. It's pretty but there's nowhere for guests to sleep comfortably. I'd like to restore the dinette area to it's original configuration. I can be emailed at Rolandaa@Verizon.net
Thanks!

I answered directly by email since I do not know how to attach pictures but forgot the measurements. The seat is 16-1/2" x 24-1/4".

I have 1968 hull number 31 and I have been asking the same question. I think my table may have been rebuilt and I have not seen the leg support for the berth. I would be interested in seeing the pictues that are available of the berth made up. Please email me as well at gregstokes@hotmail.com. Thanks a bunch.
