Hi All, I am (almost) the proud new owner of hull 265... wooo! She is in desperate need of a new main - I don't trust the one she came with to make the delivery home. The plan is to do the delivery over Christmas, so I need a sail ASAP. I haven't been able to find anything used that will fit properly, so it looks like I need to buy new... unless anyone is itching for a new sail and wants to sell me their old one.... Anyway. Two big questions for you all... First, what batten configurations do you have on your p35s? I've been reading so many opinions it's making my head spin. One day I'll be set on full battens, the next I'll be set on traditional. I've seen a couple compelling arguments for NO battens. I'm thinking my safest bet right now would be to go traditional - all partial battens... can't really go wrong with the original setup, right? What are your thoughts? Second, I may have a sailmaker picked out... he is a favorite among the locals where I am, but his big business is racing sails rather than cruising sails, so I am not positive I will go with him. Which sailmakers have you used? Thanks!
