I have a 1971 P35 hull #191 (Invictus). Does anyone have any information as to the size of the box, amount of insulation? Has any one converted to refrigeration unit?

The box from my '69 had been cut and reduced in width to 12". Cut their mod'd box and widened it to 15" id. PO's installation wasn't all that hot. Used 2" of foam on the sides and pour In place foam on the bottom. I'm debating whether to go with 4" household foam insulation or 1 1/2" space age stuff. Would like more storage space in the chart table area but not sure I want to spend the considerable extra cost of the exotic insulation to get it.
If I had to do it over again, probably would make up an entirely new box out of thin plywood sheathed with epoxy/glass or premade glass sheets. The time involved in cutting away the PO's glass work and glassing in the expansion strip was not easy especially because of the way the owner mod'd it in the first place.
Will be using a Frigoboat keel cooled system.
