My spreaders were wood and shot, I just bought the boat. hull 24 Pearson 35. I bought new spreaders on ebay and are modifying them.
The 1x19 on all of the stays look new with new fittings, the issue is the toggles are all maxed out, is there anything I can add to extend the toggle to be able screw the toggles to make them safe? Are stay extenders a good way to go?
Also how do you get to the hull mast step, cut the floor?

Only way I can figure to get to the hull side of the compression post is to cut the floor. The locker aft of the head has a removable floor, but not enough to do anything to the post. If you can get the shower pan up, that would be the way I would go for it.
