Has anyone seen any bulkhead rotting with the stbd upper chain plate tab. The P35 I'm looking at had had some chain plate leaks and the bulkhead has some dry rot in it. That chain plate attachments use's the bulkhead as compression filler between the fbg tabs for the chain plate. The port side upper has the wood encapsulated in the tab and the bulkhead doesn't meet where the chain plate is like on stbd. So I assume that this bulkhead inserted in the stbd chain plate tab is more important as a compression filler and not critical for deck support. I hope my explanation is somewhat clear . Thanks in Advance

Tom I have found some dry rot on my 35 on the deck around the vent. this I took care of in the folowing manner. first I removed all the dry rot by scrapeing and air nozel with 150 lb. Next clean area with acetone or lacquer thinner. use corse sandpaper to insure good bond between old fiberglass with the new. Cut fiberglass you will be useing for fill ,mix rosen fill void with rosen and glass Redrill necessary holes good luck Roscoe1
