I want (need) to replace all of my portlights. I can find decent replacements for the small ones but not for the 4 large ones (2 on each side). Has anyone replaced them? If yes, where did you purchase and who is the manufacturer. Can anyone recommend a company that makes custom portlights?

Did a great job.

Quebec. www.bomon.comWas $1910 for 4, shipping included. All custom opening sliders with pop in screens. Improved ventilation markedly and no leaks. Put them in prior to the 2013 season and am very happy. email alain@bomon.com

Wanted to get opening ports that were ocean proof. Pulled the ports and glassed in the openings. Installed three opening ports per side. If I had to do it again, would buy two opening ports per side that were as tall or taller than the old fixed ports and then build up glass to fill in what the ports didn't cover in length. That would be way less work than glassing the complete openings and cutting out for the new ports., The cut outs did make really nice backing plates for cleats, etc, though. Helped that I was also painting the deck so no issues trying to get the new layup to blend in. The opening ports have worked fantastically. Opening them up is the difference between misery and comfort with a nice cool breezes in the marina here in Hawaii.

Peapod - Did you go with the Bowman customer ports? And if so - how did they turn out?
Thanks!
