Hi all, I'm a racer at heart, but when we got our P-35, "Delphini" hull # 113, my wife and I agreed I'd crew on other boats and we'd just cruise on our new acquisition. This design will never go to weather like a modern vessel, but being a racer at heart, I'd like to maximize her performance to whatever is possible. So, that being said, I'd be very interested to hear from other P-35 owners. What have you done in terms of mast tuning or what other "tweaks" have worked for you? Does inducing pre-bend in the mast seem to help? How about mast rake? Have any of you installed an adjustable back stay? The mast is like a tree trunk, but does an adjuster help? I'd love to hear about any other ideas you may have. Thanks! Greg Beardmore Green Bay, WI
